Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Nousfy, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any provision, do not use the app.

These Terms govern access to and use of the app, including its tools, journeys, content and features.

Nousfy supports self-awareness and everyday clarity through guided personal reflection tools and journeys. It offers space to pause, notice yourself and reconnect at your own pace.

Important: Nousfy is not a mental health service, therapy, psychological counselling or medical treatment, and does not replace professional care. Its tools are intended for personal development and well-being. For significant emotional distress, a psychological crisis, thoughts of self-harm or any situation requiring professional support, seek a psychologist, psychiatrist or an emergency service in your region.

2.1. You must be at least 16 years old to use the app. Minors need a legal guardian’s knowledge and agreement. By using the app, you declare that you meet these requirements; we do not verify age or identity documents.

2.2. You must provide truthful registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. Accounts and subscriptions are personal and non-transferable; sharing them is prohibited.

2.3. You are responsible for activity on your account. Report unauthorised use immediately to suporte@nousfyapp.com.br.

3.1. Nousfy includes two free tools and a free-writing space for reflection, available in guest mode without signing in after accepting the experience terms and understanding that Nousfy is not a clinical service.

Premium unlocks 10 additional tools and other reflection spaces and content that become available as you use the app. It requires Google sign-in or an email-and-password account, plus a subscription through the app store, as described in section 4.

3.2. We may add, change, remove or reclassify tools as free or Premium, seeking to give reasonable advance notice of significant changes where possible.

3.3. Some tools allow you to save reflections, writing and journey records ("User Content"). These remain exclusively on your own device, as explained in section 7.

4.1. Billing. Premium is a recurring monthly or quarterly subscription. There is no minimum commitment beyond the purchased billing period.

4.2. Price. The price appears in the app before purchase confirmation and may vary by region, currency and pricing policy. Price changes are notified in advance and apply to future billing periods.

4.3. Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew at the end of each monthly or quarterly period unless cancelled before renewal, subject to the purchasing store’s conditions.

4.4. Cancellation. Cancel through the settings of the App Store or Google Play account used to subscribe. Cancellation prevents future charges; Premium remains available until the end of the paid period.

4.5. Refunds and withdrawal. Request a refund through the store where you purchased the subscription. In Brazil, the statutory withdrawal period for distance contracts is 7 days from contracting, as applicable under article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code. For consumers in the European Union / European Economic Area, the general withdrawal period is 14 days from contracting, where the applicable law provides for it.

Starting access to digital content or a digital service does not automatically remove withdrawal rights. Any exception depends on the type of contract and applicable legal requirements, including prior express consent and acknowledgement where required. In other regions, mandatory local rights and deadlines apply; the Brazilian period is not a worldwide limit.

The store handles the request, but its policies do not override statutory rights. A request is not a guarantee of automatic approval. Cancelling renewal is not the same as requesting a refund. You may also contact our support to exercise your rights or if the store procedure is difficult or does not resolve your request.

How to request: for Apple purchases, sign in to Apple’s refund portal with the purchasing account and choose the subscription and refund option. For Google Play, follow the refund instructions for your purchase and region.

4.6. Changes to Premium content. We may update, replace or discontinue content and features while developing the app. We seek to communicate significant changes in advance where possible. Minor changes do not automatically give rise to a proportional refund. Statutory rights remain unaffected in cases of service failure, failure to fulfil an offer or a change that substantially compromises the purchased experience.

4.7. Other devices. You can use Premium on other devices by signing in to the same Nousfy account linked to an active subscription. Purchase validation follows the purchasing store’s rules and may require the correct store account. This does not transfer local reflections or permit account sharing. Transfers between different stores are not guaranteed. Contact support for errors.

4.8. Launch offer. For a limited time, the quarterly plan offers one month as a gift, equivalent to 33% OFF. Availability, conditions and renewal pricing appear in the app and store before confirmation. The discount is not permanent; check renewal conditions in the store.

4.9. Plan changes. Request monthly/quarterly changes through the purchasing store’s subscription management. Effective dates, billing adjustments and renewal follow the conditions displayed there. A change may take effect immediately or at the next billing period; check before confirming.

You agree not to use the app unlawfully or infringe third-party rights; access other users’ accounts or data without permission; reverse-engineer, copy, reproduce or distribute tools, journeys, methods or content without express authorisation; use robots, scrapers or other automated extraction methods; share or resell accounts or subscriptions; or bypass Premium access restrictions.

Violations may result in suspension or termination under section 9 and appropriate legal action, including stopping the conduct and seeking compensation for proven damage. Measures must be proportionate and follow applicable law. Accepting these Terms does not waive consumer rights or impose an automatic financial penalty.

6.1. App content, including texts, methods, journey scripts, illustrations, animations, visual identity, name, brand and tool structure, belongs to Nousfy’s rights holders or licensors and is protected by intellectual property and copyright laws.

6.2. These Terms provide only a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app. They do not transfer ownership of the app or its content.

7.1. You retain ownership of your personal reflections, writing and responses.

7.2. User Content is processed and kept exclusively on your own device, or discarded after the exercise for dynamic writing stages. We do not send or store your personal writing on our servers. Only basic account access data, subscription status and general preferences such as language and focus are associated with your account in server infrastructure, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.3. We do not use User Content for advertising, AI model training or sale to third parties.

7.4. Guest mode. Only free-writing entries are recorded in guest mode. Creating an account erases those guest entries without linking or transferring them to the new account.

7.5. Changing devices and lost records. Reflections do not synchronise or transfer when you sign in on another device. Uninstalling or clearing local app data erases records; we cannot recover them from our servers. Keeping them off our servers reduces exposure and leakage risks but does not eliminate device security risks.

7.6. Rolling histories. Records from Autodireção, Ressignificar, writing in Kairos and Resumo de Jornada are kept in limited histories. When the relevant limit is reached, new saves replace older records, which are no longer available. Replacement happens as new entries are saved, not after a fixed number of months. These spaces are not permanent archives.

Autodireção and Ressignificar are reflection tools; Kairos includes writing entries; Resumo de Jornada means journey summaries. Names are retained to match the app.

This choice supports attention to the present and continuous observation of recent experiences instead of accumulating old records. We do not keep server copies to recover replaced entries.

8.1. The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee specific well-being, self-awareness or emotional outcomes, which depend on personal factors beyond our control.

8.2. As stated in section 1, the app does not replace professional diagnosis, treatment or psychological/psychiatric care. Nousfy is not an emergency service and does not provide crisis care.

8.3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the app.

9.1. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms with notice, except serious violations where suspension may be immediate.

9.2. You may delete your account in the app through Configurações → Minha Conta → Excluir Conta. Please use in-app deletion first. If you cannot complete it, send a request from the same email address registered to your Nousfy account to suporte@nousfyapp.com.br; the request will be fulfilled within 30 days. Deleting an account or uninstalling does not cancel a subscription: also cancel through the store to avoid new charges. Data retention and deletion follow our Privacy Policy.

The app path above means Settings → My Account → Delete Account. Portuguese labels are retained to identify the controls.

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or email with reasonable advance notice before taking effect. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable to your case. Disputes may be brought before the courts of the consumer’s domicile or another court provided by applicable law. This clause does not restrict access to justice or consumer rights.
